Mt. Victoria 3,290 m above sea level exists in Chin State. Nature lovers and energetic trekkers amuse its unspoiled ecosystem, Hill Savannah, evergreen forest, mammals like boar, guar, gibbon etc. Different species of birds and butterflies will captivate you along the journey. Moreover continue to Mindat to study Chin people at remote villages. Return to Bagan from different route gaining more knowledge.

Ext 7. Mount Victoria (4 Days / 3 Nights)
Day 01 Bagan / Kanpetlet (Car) ( - / - / - )
Pick up at your hotel in Bagan. Pack to be ready for the mountainous drive with local jeep. Check out from the hotel and start a long mountainous drive to reach Kanaplet passing through towns of the plain region, Chauk – a town rich with old and new oil fields - and Seikphyu at the west bank of the Ayeyarwaddy river. After 30 miles from Seikphyu, the climbing on the Pong Taung and Pong Nyar mountain ranges starts to reach a town called, Hsaw. The road from Hsaw to Kanpalet is the dusty zigzag and sometimes steep mountain road passing through natural forested area. Arrive Kanaplet in the evening, which is about 4500 ft high. Kanpetlet is a small town cool and quiet.

Day 02 Kanpalet / Mt. Victoria / Mindat ( B / - / - )
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive up to 9,000 ft high of the mountain from where we would start our trekking to the top of the mountain. The trek is a moderate walk and can be done steadily. Trekking through the savanna forests along the winding narrow walking path, one can also see the rare blood red Rhododendrons and other forest flowers. The panoramic view to see the steps of Chin mountain ranges is a memorable while during the trek. Arrive the peak of the mountain at 10,500 ft above sea level – the 3rd highest mountain in Myanmar. Have a rest and view the surrounding of Chin Hills. Have picnic lunch at the peak. All the way down back to the 9,000 ft camp continue drive to Mindat, 4860 ft high. Overnight at Mindat.
Day 03 Mindat and vicinity (Chin people villages) ( B /- / - )
Breakfast at local tea shop. We would visit to the nearby Chin village, Baungte, which would involve the soft trekking up and down hill along the slope of the mountain with the view of beautiful scenery of the floating cloud among the high mountain ranges and varieties of wild flowers. At the entrance of the village, the poles and monuments mark the story and achievements of the villagers is one of the attractions for the visitors. The traditional Chin houses are built on stilt, long houses with a wall decorated by hanging skulls of hunted animals as of showing off their proud as good hunters. The villagers work on farm and the harvest is stored in burn. We would walk around the village, chat with villagers, have a rest and having packed lunch at one of the local houses. There are a lot of local ways of lives to explore in and around the village until we take the same route back. Overnight at Mindat.
Day 04 Mindat / Bagan (Car) ( B / - / - )
Breakfast at the guest house or local tea shop. Pack and ready for the return journey back to Bagan. Although taking the jeep back to Bagan along the road, the fabulous panoramic scenery and view along the way would not let you down and even one can feel different experience. Back to Bagan in the late afternoon.
